Understanding the Roles: Learn the distinctions and overlaps between psychotherapy and social work, including their diverse educational paths, therapeutic modalities, and approaches to client care.
Psychotherapy Approaches: An in-depth look at various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care, and how therapists tailor these approaches to meet individual client needs.
Social Work Practices: Explore how social workers assess and intervene in a client’s life from a broader perspective, addressing not only mental health but also social, economic, and environmental factors that impact well-being.
Assessment and Intervention: The essential process of client assessment, from understanding mental health history to evaluating social needs and resources, with practical guidance on creating treatment plans and intervention strategies.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Understand how psychotherapists and social workers often collaborate with other professionals (e.g., doctors, teachers, legal advocates) to create a holistic approach to care.
Case Studies and Real-World Applications: Engage with real-life case studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of psychotherapy and social work interventions in various settings such as hospitals, schools, community centers, and private practice.
Ethics and Professionalism: An exploration of the ethical considerations and professional standards in both fields, emphasizing the importance of confidentiality, informed consent, and cultural competence.

Chiropractic Treatment
Chiropractors are licensed health-care professionals concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders, with an emphasis on the musculoskeletal system and misalignment of the joints. Chiropractors treat such concerns through manual adjustments or other soft-tissue and joint (ex. the spinal vertebrae) manipulation to correct nervous system dysfunction. As for booking please book on either the direct hour, 20 past the hour or 40 past the hour.
Physiotherapy Treatment
Physiotherapy is the preservation, enhancement and restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disease, injury, or disability through unique therapeutic exercises, physical modalities, and assistive devices. Another key component of physiotherapy is health advocacy via in-depth patient education and training.
Chiropody Foot Care/Orthotics
Chiropody concerns the medical care, treatment and prevention of various ailments related to the human foot. Not only are chiropodists adept at dealing with foot deformities (ex. bunions, flat feet, diabetics and so on), they also provide orthotics and gait assessments which are used to improve certain health concerns related to the feet and lower limbs.
TMJ Treatment
TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint, which is the hinge that connects your jaw to the skull, located in front of your ears. The TMJ allows for the movement of the jaw, enabling actions like chewing, talking, and yawning. The joint is complex, involving bones, cartilage, muscles, and ligaments that work together to allow smooth movement.
When people refer to TMJ in the context of health, they are often talking about a group of disorders collectively called TMD (temporomandibular disorders). These disorders affect the function of the TMJ and can cause a variety of symptoms, such as:
-Jaw pain or tenderness (especially around the TMJ area)
-Clicking or popping sounds when opening or closing the mouth
-Locking of the jaw, where it becomes difficult to open or close the mouth
-Headaches or migraines
-Pain or discomfort in the neck, shoulders, or around the ears
-Difficulty chewing or a feeling of discomfort when chewing
-Dizziness or ear ringing (tinnitus) in some cases
Thai Massage Therapy Sessions
Thai massage is often described as a form of assisted yoga, where the therapist guides the client through various stretches. This makes it a unique and invigorating experience that promotes both physical and mental well-being.
Benefits of Thai Massage:
-Stress Relief: Promotes relaxation and mental clarity.
-Increased Flexibility: Enhances range of motion in joints and muscles.
-Pain Relief: Eases discomfort in muscles and joints.
-Improved Circulation: Stimulates blood flow, benefiting overall health.
Massage Therapy Sessions
Massage therapy (RMT) is the manipulation of the muscles and other soft tissues of the body (such as through stroking, kneading, or rubbing with one or both hands) by a massage therapist for therapeutic purposes.
